Catalog
A single source of truth for vendors and products
Stop chasing product lists across spreadsheets and slide decks. m0vo gives IT product managers a structured catalog of vendors and products—hardware, software, SaaS, and services—with categories and search that scale with your portfolio.
What you get
- Vendors and products with stable identifiers and slugs
- Product types: hardware, software, SaaS, service, and other
- Category taxonomy for portfolio segmentation
- Full-text search across the catalog
- Manual entry, CSV import, and discovery ingest paths
Why a dedicated product catalog matters
IT portfolios grow faster than shared documents can keep up. When product names, vendors, and ownership live in email threads, teams lose track of what is in use, what is approved, and what is at risk. A purpose-built catalog makes every product a first-class record you can link to capabilities, lifecycle dates, and inventory.
How m0vo models vendors and products
Each vendor has a canonical name, optional website and country, and optional Wikidata identity. Products belong to a vendor, carry a product type, optional description and category, and can be sourced from manual entry, open-data discovery, AI enrichment, or seed data. Duplicate names under the same vendor are prevented so the catalog stays clean.
Built for day-to-day portfolio work
Browse products and vendors, open rich detail pages, import bulk lists from CSV, and keep the catalog current without replacing your CMDB. Attach vendor contracts to products when commercial terms matter. m0vo focuses on product intelligence—what exists, what it does, when it ends of life, and how it is contracted—not rack locations or license seats.
